Ashley Burleson is a Partner in the Commercial Department and practices in the Billings office. Her practice focuses on estate planning, estate and trust administration, and elder planning. She also has experience in other areas of law such as tax, charitable planning, entity formation and commercial transactions. She represents individuals, farm and ranch owners and other small business owners, and institutional trustees.
Ms. Burleson graduated with high honors from the University of Montana School of Law in 1998. While attending the University of Montana, she served on the editorial board of the Montana Law Review. She received her undergraduate degree in accounting from the University of Texas at Austin in 1994, where she graduated with honors.
Ms. Burleson is very active in the Billings community and in the legal community. She currently serves as a Board member of the Montana State University Billings Foundation, the Montana Justice Foundation, and the Yellowstone Area Bar Association. She is a former Board member and past President of the Billings Preservation Society, and a former Board member of the Billings chapter of the Mental Health Association. She regularly represents the Yellowstone County Guardianship Council on a pro-bono basis. She is currently a participant in the statewide Leadership Montana program and is a graduate of the local Leadership Billings program.
