Sarah Loble is a Partner in the Commercial Department practicing in ERISA and employee benefits law. She advises her clients about federal benefits laws including provisions of the Internal Revenue Code, ERISA, COBRA and HIPAA, as well as Montana health information privacy laws and insurance mandates. Sarah assists employers and plan sponsors with all aspects of retirement, health and welfare program compliance, including plan document content, policies and procedures, internal and government audits, education and training, government filings and plan correction procedures. Sarah handles tax-qualified 401(k) and profit-sharing plans, ESOPs and other stock or equity-based incentive programs, Code Section 403(b) plans for tax-exempt entities, executive "top-hat" and other deferred compensation programs, and all types of health and welfare plans. Sarah’s clients include large and small businesses, medical groups, hospitals, banks, schools and school districts, insurance agencies and multiple employer plans.

Sarah graduated from the University of Montana School of Law in 1997, where she was Co-Editor-in-Chief of the Montana Law Review. She practiced employee benefits law at Davis Wright Tremaine LLP in Seattle for five years before returning to Montana in 2002. She received her B.A. from the University of Washington with Phi Beta Kappa honors in 1993. Sarah has published several articles, is a frequent speaker on employee benefits topics and is active in the Western Pension and Benefits Conference, Montana Chapter. Sarah is licensed to practice in Montana and Washington State.
