Ian McIntosh, a fourth generation Montanan, graduated from the University of Montana School of Law in May 1998 with honors, and from the University of Washington in 1993. Mr. McIntosh’s practice primarily focuses on civil litigation defense including: products liability; personal injury; and insurance bad faith. Mr. McIntosh was named one of Montana’s best Litigators by Chambers and Partners in 2005-2010; a Super Lawyer in the Mountain States in 2010; a Rising Star in the Mountain States edition of Super Lawyers in 2008-2009; and was named as a litigation star in 2008 in Benchmark Litigation, the Guide to America’s Leading Litigation Firms and Attorneys.
Mr. McIntosh is an inactive Certified Public Accountant, a member of the Association of Ski Defense Attorneys (ASDA), is a former American Whitewater volunteer of the month, and he won the 2005 Downriver race in the Gallatin River Whitewater Festival. He was also a contributor to the River Gypsies Guide to North America.
