Christopher (Chris) K. Oliveira is a Partner in the Helena Litigation Department. Chris is the co-practice leader of the Tort Litigation Practice Group. His practice focuses on civil litigation, with an emphasis on medical malpractice. Chris also litigates labor and employment matters on behalf of employers, such as wrongful discharge, discrimination, and wage and hour. Chris’s labor and employment practices also focuses on advising employers related to terminations, employee handbooks, and compliance with state and federal law.

Outside of the practice of law, Chris spends his time outdoors in the great state of Montana with his wife and two daughters hunting, fishing, hiking and/or skiing.

In 2001, Chris received his Bachelor of Arts in Political Science and Sociology from Carroll College, Helena, Montana. In 2006, he received his Juris Doctorate from the University of Montana School of Law. Before joining the firm, Chris was the law clerk for the Honorable Thomas C. Honzel, Montana First Judicial District Court (August 2006 – December 2008) and the Honorable Kathy Seeley, Montana First Judicial District Court (January 2009 – July 2009).
