Adrienne Maxwell is a Partner in the firm’s Missoula office. Adrienne joined the firm in 2015 and practices in the areas of employee benefits and trusts and estates. She regularly advises clients with respect to self-funded health insurance plans, multiple employer welfare arrangements, welfare benefit plans, 401(k) plans, 403(b) plans, profit sharing plans, and cafeteria plans. She provides plan design and compliance assistance under the Internal Revenue Code, ERISA, COBRA, and HIPAA, and helps employers correct errors using corrective programs with the IRS and the U.S. Dept. of Labor.

Adrienne grew up in Somers, Montana. She received her B.A. from Bates College in Lewiston, Maine where she majored in philosophy, and earned her J.D. from Columbia Law School in New York City in 2010. In 2010 she began her career in the tax group at Sullivan & Cromwell in New York City, before returning to Montana in 2012 where she worked for Earthjustice in Bozeman.

Adrienne is a past President of the Western Montana Estate Planning Council and a volunteer debate coach at Frenchtown High School.
