Jasmine J. Morton is an Associate in the Kalispell office and a member of the Taxation, Trusts, & Estates Practice Group. The majority of Jasmine’s practice is focused on creating and advising non-profit organizations and complex estate planning.

In advising nonprofits and tax exempt organizations, she helps create nonprofit organizations by drafting and filing organizational documents, and preparing applications for tax exemption. Jasmine assists with nonprofit administration, including preparing gift agreements, navigating administrative procedures, and reviewing board documents. Her diverse client base includes hospitals, private foundations, chambers of commerce, colleges, public charities, and other nonprofit trusts and corporations.

Jasmine also dedicates a significant portion of her practice to complex estate planning drafting and administration and trust administration, providing comprehensive legal support in these areas.

Since joining Crowley Fleck in 2019, Jasmine has focused her practice on supporting her clients’ efforts to improve their communities, finding fulfillment in being part of that mission and serving as a valuable resource. She appreciates collaborating with her colleagues and reaching the most efficient outcome for her clients. Jasmine especially enjoys hearing about the positive impact that the nonprofits they have helped establish make in the future, which further fuels her passion for her work. She has played a pivotal role in creating and advising some of the largest non-profit organizations in Montana, both at the state and regional levels.

Jasmine is a Flathead Valley native and stays active in her community through the Chamber of Commerce, Leadership Flathead, and Daybreak Rotary. She is especially invested in her hometown of Somers, where she renovated a 120-year-old mansion to create a flourishing wedding venue in her community. In her free time, Jasmine enjoys spending time with her son and Bernese Mountain Dog, and can often be found working on NYT puzzles, home projects, or hiking and swimming.
