On September 21, 2015, Crowley Fleck attorneys Jared Le Fevre, Grant Snell, Eli Patten and Brad Sweat presented a seminar to the Montana Healthcare Association at its semi-annual meeting in Billings, Montana entitled “Avoiding Payment Pitfalls: Best Practices for Assisted Living Admissions, Discharge, Collections and Medicaid.” Jared Le Fevre spoke on admission and discharge practices for Montana assisted living facilities and disputing Medicaid denials with the Montana Department of Public Health and Human Services. Eli Patten and Brad Sweat spoke on collection of accounts owed to assisted living facilities. Grant Snell spoke on Medicaid eligibility issues facing assisted living facilities.
