Katherine (Katy) Naef is an Associate and member of the Health Law Practice Group. Her practice spans healthcare law, business and commercial transactions, and employment matters.
Katy works with healthcare providers and hospitals in their regulatory compliance and operations, as well as advising on various transactional and contract matters. Her employment law practice is focused on consulting and transactional work, including employment contracts and providing strategic advice to businesses navigating employee-related issues. She routinely handles tasks such as updating bylaws and managing corporate governance documents like articles of incorporation.
Katy’s legal career is built on a strong foundation of diverse experience, including internships with three judges and a clerkship with The Honorable Susan P. Watters, U.S. District Judge for the District of Montana. As a summer associate at Crowley Fleck, she worked on health law-related matters. She also worked on pro bono cases with the Montana Innocence Project.
Outside of her legal career, Katy is a dedicated mother of five. She loves spending time with her family in her home state of Montana, and supporting her kids in their musical endeavors, often playing the piano to accompany them. Katy is also an avid reader, always looking for ways to expand her knowledge and keep learning.
