Maggie M. Volk is an Associate in the Kalispell office. She practices in healthcare and trusts and estates law, where she counsels clients through some of life’s most personal and sensitive decisions. She focuses on preparing clear, well-structured estate planning documents and takes pride in guiding families through the process with compassion and understanding. For many clients, this may be their first interaction with an attorney, and Maggie values the opportunity to make the experience approachable, respectful, and meaningful.
Her approach to trusts and estates work is rooted in empathy. She recognizes that conversations about legacy, incapacity, or end-of-life planning can be emotional and complex, and she strives to combine attentive listening with precise legal analysis. Maggie views her role as not only addressing the technical details but also supporting clients as they make thoughtful decisions for their families and futures.
While in law school, Maggie worked in the Elder Law Clinic, where she assisted low-income clients with estate planning, probate, and guardianship matters. She also served as president of Kappa Alpha Theta at University of Montana, where she helped advance the organization’s philanthropic mission, including support for CASA/GAL.
Outside of her practice, Maggie is a devoted sports fan who enjoys college and NFL football, as well as playing volleyball. She also enjoys reading and spending time at the movies.
