Summer Associate Program
Our Summer Associate Program offers an immersive 10 to 12 week experience where law students are exposed to the practice of law through hands-on experience. This program is a key way to get to know Crowley Fleck, its attorneys and staff, and the firm’s culture, history, and expectations.
- In-Person Onboarding: A welcoming two-day introduction to Crowley Fleck and the people who make it unique.
- Introductions to the Firm: You’ll gain a deep understanding of our values, people, and practices.
- Diverse & Quality Projects: Engaging and meaningful work that mirrors the experience of our full-time associates and partners across many practice areas.
- Ongoing Evaluations: Regular feedback throughout, and at the conclusion of, the program to ensure growth and refinement of skills.
- Attending Firm Events: Experience our firm and local office culture firsthand when attending events like the Sheridan WYO Rodeo, summer office picnics, and a minor league baseball game.
Training & Development

Mentoring & Guidance
Our mentoring program is focused on providing personal guidance and professional development to each attorney. You’ll receive one-on-one support from experienced professionals, ensuring your success every step of the way.
- Assigned Mentor Partners: You’ll be paired with two seasoned partners who will guide you throughout your time as an associate attorney.
- Business Development Planning: Work with Practice Group Leaders and Mentor Partners on strategies to grow your practice and build lasting client and community relationships.
- Individual Project Evaluation Forms: Regular assessments to ensure you’re on the right track and to identify areas for improvement.
- Monthly Practice Group Meetings: Collaborative discussions that allow you to learn from others in your practice area.
- Annual Performance Reviews: Formal evaluations to reflect on your achievements, areas for needed growth, and to set goals for the upcoming year.
