Amanda (“Amy”) Allard is an Associate in the Employment Law Practice Group and the Commercial Litigation Practice Group. Her practice includes employment litigation defense, construction and commercial contract litigation, and tort litigation. She has contributed to large-scale environmental litigation and has handled complex issues before the Montana Human Rights Bureau. She also has experience in education law and intellectual property matters. 

Amy’s legal philosophy centers on thoroughness and attention to detail. She prides herself on her ability to identify and address the nuances in every case, ensuring nothing is overlooked. Her natural curiosity and goal-oriented mindset drive her to deliver thoughtful, high-quality legal solutions.

Previously, Amy served as a law clerk with the United States Attorney’s Office for the Eastern District of Washington, where she appeared in federal court and worked on a variety of cases, including civil rights defense, affirmative fraud, and international law cases. During this time she researched FDA statutes for a highly publicized fraud case against a large food producer and handled complex international issues, such as extraditing individuals wanted by South Korea and Turkey. These experiences sharpened her understanding of federal law and her ability to navigate high-stakes legal matters.

Amy’s academic path was equally rich. She studied abroad in Lyon, France, then spent several years teaching English as a Foreign Language in France and South Korea before entering law school. Amy graduated Cum Laude from Gonzaga University School of Law in 2024 with pro bono service distinction. 

Raised in Montana, Amy enjoys spending time outdoors. She makes time for the things she loves like skiing, reading fiction, and cooking. She enjoys hosting cocktail nights and dinner parties and spending time with her dog.
