Jen M. Godonis partners with her clients to develop the most effective strategies for their needs and is primarily a member of the Banking, Finance, Bankruptcy & Creditors’ Rights Practice Group. She also assists in the Tax, Trusts, & Estates, and the Commercial Transactions Practice Groups.
In her practice, Jen works with financial institutions and creditors of all sizes through work out agreements, collections, garnishments, judgment execution, foreclosures, and Chapter 7, Chapter 11, and Chapter 13 bankruptcy filings. She also advises financial institutions and individuals who serve as Trustees on how to administer Trusts, by analyzing and interpreting their duties, obligations, and limitations under the Trust instruments.
Jen takes pride in building dependable, long-lasting relationships with her clients, serving as a reliable resource during challenging times. She finds great fulfillment in helping clients navigate difficult situations and providing meaningful solutions.
Jen previously worked for the Albany County Attorney’s Office, the Wyoming Attorney General’s Office, and completed an Externship with the Hon. Cathleen D. Parker of the United States Bankruptcy Court, District of Wyoming. She served as Vice Justice of Phi Alpha Delta Law Fraternity, Blume Chapter and was a Legal Research and Writing Teaching Assistant.
Jen has made a meaningful contribution to her community by volunteering with Wyoming Girls State, a distinguished program where young women from across Wyoming gather at the state capital to learn about government operations. As part of her involvement, Jen participated in the program’s mock trial, where she provided valuable insights into the legal process and fostered a deeper understanding of the law among the participants. Her dedication to this initiative reflects her commitment to education and empowering the next generation of leaders.
In her spare time, Jen loves to bake, read, renovate her home, and spend time outdoors with her husband and their two dogs.
