Madison Tyson is an Associate in the Helena office and a member of the Energy and Environmental Practice Group. Madison works on government affairs matters, representing clients in energy, local government, business, and healthcare matters. In her lobbying work, she meets with legislative and executive branch officials, testifies on bills, and serves as an advocate for her clients. Madison also works on regulatory issues with a focus on utility regulation. The rest of Madison’s practice is focused on estate planning, including drafting wills and trusts, and assisting with estate administration. In all of her work, Madison emphasizes the importance of connecting with her clients. She works hard to understand their needs and help guide them through difficult decisions, whether that is drafting a complex piece of legislation or helping a family plan their estate.

Madison received her J.D. from the University of Montana School of Law in 2023. While in law school, Madison served as the Vice President and Third-Year Representative of the Native American Law Students Association. Madison is a member of the Business, Estates, Trusts, Tax, and Real Property and Public Utilities Sections of the Montana State Bar. She also serves as a board member for the Helena Indian Alliance.

In her free time, Madison enjoys spending time with friends and family, traveling, hiking, floating the river, fly fishing, and making beadwork.
