Meghan M. Poirier is an Associate in the Bozeman office and a member of the Commercial Transactions Practice Group. The majority of Meghan’s practice is centered on commercial transaction work, including assisting clients with commercial contracts, asset purchase agreements, real estate transactions, and corporate formation and governance. The rest of Meghan’s practice is focused on information technology contracting and compliance, including assisting clients with non-disclosure agreements, software contracts, terms of use and privacy programs. Meghan holds certifications from the International Association of Privacy Professionals in US and European (GDPR) privacy and data protection. 

Meghan graduated from the United States Military Academy at West Point in 2001. Upon graduation, she was commissioned as a Military Police Officer in the United States Army. She was selected to attend law school while on active duty and, upon graduation from the Wake Forest University School of Law, transferred to the U.S. Army Judge Advocate General’s (JAG) Corps. Meghan served the remainder of her time on active duty as a JAG officer. Prior to joining Crowley Fleck, Meghan worked as an in-house attorney for a local financial technology company.

Meghan enjoys working in many areas of law and the opportunity to collaborate with her colleagues. Outside of her primary practice, Meghan has been accredited by the Veterans’ Administration to represent claimants in connection with VA benefit claims.

In her free time, Meghan enjoys spending time with her husband and two children, supporting them in their sports and activities, skiing, gardening and embracing Montana’s outdoors.
