Bobbi Owen is an Associate in the Billings office and a member of the Tort Litigation and Commercial and Natural Resources Litigation Practice Groups. Bobbi enjoys a broad civil litigation practice, focusing on insurance defense, personal injury, real estate litigation, and complex commercial disputes, including for clients within the energy industry. Bobbi takes pride in her strong work ethic and thorough approach—crafting compelling arguments, and delivering clear, well-reasoned legal writing.
Bobbi began her career as a law clerk for the Hon. Nancy D. Freudenthal in the United States District Court for the District of Wyoming, serving in that role from 2018 to 2019. Thereafter, she spent a year working as an Assistant Attorney General in the Wyoming Attorney General’s Office before moving to Billings in 2020. Prior to joining Crowley Fleck in 2025, she practiced civil litigation at another well-respected Montana law firm. She has been recognized in Best Lawyers in America: Ones to Watch® for her work in the area of Municipal Law.
Bobbi earned her B.A. from Carroll College, graduating summa cum laude in 2015 with a B.A. in political science. She earned her J.D. from the University of Wyoming College of Law in 2018, graduating with honors and Order of the Coif. While in law school, she served as a staff member for the Wyoming Law Review and worked as a legal writing teaching assistant.
A Montana native, Bobbi grew up on a cattle ranch in Carter County. She has called Billings home for nearly five years and serves on the board of directors for Family Service Billings, a non-profit that works to fight homelessness and hunger in the community.
When she’s not practicing law, Bobbi enjoys returning to her family’s ranch, cooking, and spending time outdoors in Montana’s wide-open spaces.
