Christopher C. Voigt is a Partner in the Billings Office and a Tort Litigation Practice Group Leader. He has been a litigator with the firm for more than 23 years. His practice involves a variety of civil litigation matters. Chris has tried many cases to verdict involving insurance bad faith, medical malpractice, breach of ranching leases, easement interference, personal injury defense, trucking accidents, automobile accidents, breach of contract, breach of patent licensing agreements, breach of fiduciary duty, banking practices, Title VII of the Civil Rights Act, and wrongful termination of employment.
Chris brings a distinctive perspective to his role as a litigator – one grounded in integrity, pragmatism, and a commitment to efficiency. With roots in a small-town upbringing, he values resolution over unnecessary conflict, prioritizing cooperation with opposing counsel over unnecessary drama. Chris firmly believes in advocating for his client’s best interests, whether that means pursuing settlement negotiations or taking a case to trial. With a wealth of trial experience, often completing multiple trials a year, he stands as Crowley Fleck’s most seasoned litigator, adept at navigating the complexities of the courtroom with skill and finesse.
Chris is well-known in Laramie, where he was a bull rider for the University of Wyoming rodeo team while in law school. After graduation he served as a Law Clerk for two judges in the Wyoming Ninth Judicial District Court for two years. He continued his rodeo career and coached high school wrestling before trading his spurs to join Crowley Fleck.
When not practicing law, Chris enjoys spending time with his wife and four children. He can also be found in his shop, where he restores classic cars and builds demolition derby cars.
