Griffin is a partner in the Bozeman office and a member of the Commercial and Natural Resources Litigation Practice Group. As a litigator, he helps clients resolve disputes through court action, arbitration, mediation, and negotiation. Educated as an engineer, Griffin now channels his passion for problem-solving into helping his clients to understand their legal rights and risks, to formulate legal strategies for achieving their goals, and to find efficient and practical solutions to the legal issues and disputes they are facing.
Griffin represents a diverse group of clients in a broad range of disputes. While Griffin’s focus is on construction and business-related disputes, Griffin’s work has ranged from small landlord-tenant matters in local justice courts to bet-the-business litigation in simultaneous state court, federal court, administrative, and appellate actions. Griffin has represented business owners, engineers, architects, contractors, homeowners, lawyers, estates, trusts, and homeowners’ associations, as well as all sorts of local, national, and multinational businesses. No matter the client or the size of the dispute, Griffin’s focus is the same: pursuing clients’ goals and managing legal risks in order to achieve the best possible outcome to clients’ disputes.
Griffin grew up in Bozeman and enjoys running, skiing, and kayaking rivers when he is not in the office.
