William M. Morris is a Partner in the Bozeman office and a member of the Tort Litigation Practice Group. Mac has a substantial commercial litigation practice, where he handles class action, ERISA, False Claims Act, products liability, and construction litigation. He also represents clients in healthcare, appellate, insurance, and real estate matters. Mac frequently appears in federal court on behalf of his clients and has defended the State of Montana on multiple occasions. 

Mac strives for excellence in all aspects of his practice, from communication, to trial preparation, to litigation. He enjoys being in court and getting wins for his clients, both in and out of trial. 

Prior to joining Crowley Fleck in 2015, Mac clerked for the Honorable Dana L. Christensen, United States District Court Judge for the District of Montana. Mac graduated with high honors from the University of Montana Law School. He was Articles Editor for the Montana Law Review and a member of the School of Law’s Trial Team.

Outside of his primary practice, Mac is a member of the Association of Ski Defense Attorneys where he represents ski resorts in tort litigation and ski-related injury matters. Mac is also one of four representatives for Montana before the United States Court of Appeals for the Ninth Circuit. In this role, he and his fellow representatives are responsible for putting on the annual Federal District Conference and the annual Judicial Institute. 

Mac and his wife have two sons and spend their free time enjoying the rivers and mountains in Montana, hiking, biking, rafting, fishing, and skiing.
