Aimee Grmoljez, chair of the CrowleyFleck Government Affairs group, became the chair of the Montana Chamber yesterday at the Northern Hotel in Billings, MT. Aimee shared her vision for the next year of gratitude for those in life and business who work to find a way to “yes” to expand and grow business and to be Supermentors! Aimee shared that the Chamber board is working through a strategic evaluation process with vested parties to create a 10 year vision to not just survive but thrive in business development and growth. This may not always make friends for the Chamber but the board us committed to leading Montana in important conversations and objectives to support business small, medium and large- because it’s not personal – it’s Business! Along these lines on Monday and Tuesday of this week Aimee represented the Montana Chamber with a delegation of Montana, Wyoming and Washington legislators and labor and business leaders to tour the Millenium Bulk Terminal site in Longview, WA and the Seattle Port. The visits highlighted the economy of trade and necessity to develop these ports to get Montana and Wyoming products to market – whether it be our coal or grain from Montana. The tour highlighted the connectedness of these three states and the hundreds of thousands of jobs associated with trade and coal and grain exports.
