Carina Wilmot draws on years of experience advising Montana businesses, employers, and families in estate and trust planning and administration, labor and employment matters, corporate governance, real estate transactions, and alcoholic beverage licensing. Through this work, she has seen how often legal disputes can be avoided with early, thoughtful guidance—an insight that naturally led her to offer mediation services within her practice areas. Her prevention‑focused approach is strengthened by her background in communication, which gives her the ability to read the room, interpret non‑verbal cues, and understand the emotional dynamics that frequently influence legal issues. Clients consistently value her steady presence and her skill in turning complex situations into clear, practical next steps.
Steve Jennings is Senior Counsel in the Billings Litigation Department. His primary practice areas are workers’ compensation law and real property disputes. After a career in the United States Marine Corps, Steve attended the University of Montana School of Law where he graduated with honors. Steve has been practicing with Crowley Fleck since receiving his J.D. and has successfully tried and argued many cases before Montana’s federal and state courts as well as the Montana Supreme Court. He is a frequent lecturer on workers’ compensation law and has represented workers’ compensation insurers in hundreds of mediations. Steve continues to provide legal advice and trial representation to insurers and individual clients regarding workers’ compensation and real estate disputes, two areas in which he would be well-positioned to offer mediation services.
