Gabrielle K. Frawley is an Associate in the Bismarck office. Her practice includes appellate and commercial litigation, along with energy and natural resource matters. She helps clients secure permits for special projects and regularly works on land use, zoning, and regulatory issues, focusing on clear, practical solutions.

Gabrielle brings a nontraditional background and a global perspective to her legal practice. Before pursuing law, she earned a Ph.D. in Germanic Languages and Literatures from the University of Kansas and taught German at the graduate and undergraduate level in the United States and Germany. She has also studied abroad at Ludwig-Maximilians-Universität in Munich and the Lebanese American University in Beirut.

During law school at Washburn University School of Law, Gabrielle served as Notes Editor for the Washburn Law Journal, earned the John D. Ensley Memorial Writing Award, and received multiple CALI awards for excellence in coursework. While in law school, she completed judicial internships with the Honorable Teresa J. James at the U.S. District Court for the District of Kansas and the Kansas Court of Appeals. She also completed a legal internship at Kanzlei Lauprecht in Kiel, Germany, and contributed to the OPEC Research Team, drafting energy transition policy and regulatory briefs used at the 2021 United Nations Framework Convention on Climate Change (COP26/UNFCCC) in Glasgow. Prior to joining Crowley Fleck, Gabrielle served as a judicial law clerk for the Honorable Jerod E. Tufte of the North Dakota Supreme Court. 

Fluent in German, Gabrielle leverages her linguistic and teaching experience to communicate complex legal concepts clearly and effectively. She is also an animal lover and dedicated to fitness.
