Bozeman, the fourth largest city in Montana, is located in the southwestern part of the State where it is a gateway to Yellowstone National Park and has such spectacular scenery that it has served as a film location, most notably in A River Runs Through It. Montana State University – Bozeman is the city’s largest employer, and there are many high-tech companies engaged in research, production, and software development. The city boasts an award-winning urban trail system and world class museums including the Museum of the Rockies, which houses the largest collection of dinosaur remains in the U.S., as well as Taylor Planetarium and Tinley House, a living history museum of life in 19th century Montana.
